Here we see tatewari himself, as our grandfather, lord of fire, when he was returning from his work. He presented what he had found, and it was received from him by his mother, who is represented here as tate yurianaka, our mother fertile earth. These are ketsite, maybe katsute. They seem to be lizards, and so he asked what can rise above the underworld. She answered, they may be eaten. We can see our grandfather as the main figure on the upper left. The main figure on the bottom right is our mother earth, who is, according to this, his mother. He is presenting them to her and she is saying they may be eaten after he has found her after a day's work. I think that they are over a fire. They will be thrown into the fire where they will be cooked. Above the lizards is the house where he established himself. On the second level the earth is like a shrine, a god house. I do not think there is much more here in this yarn painting to be described, we can call it "Our grandfather fire Returns From Hunting Lizards”, but I'm not sure what kind of a lizard that is, so we can put quotation marks to denote that.

Here we see a child who is the Matsuwa, which was the sacred bracelet that is worn as a wrist guard. Matsuwa is sometimes identified with the pulse that goes through the wrist. This boy was sent by his mother, Tsitsi, to Heriepa, to the surface of earth. The child fights for his life and goes out to hunt and find food. We can speculate that the child tried hunting for nine days, until he came across an animal which he tried to hunt.

We see what appears to be a small shrine on the lower left which is attached to what looks like a bird. Their flesh is represented as the head of the deer, although we only see its black ears. Then we see three ribs, or three pieces that are like bones of the flesh below the head, corresponding to the three ancestors who sacrificed their flesh. It appears that there is something like a round cooking utensil and four tortillas. Further below, near the center bottom, is what appears to be a gourd in which some of the blood may be kept at the beginning of the sacrifice. At the bottom right we have something like a human being which may represent the ancestors receiving sacrifice of the flesh. It might also represent Kauyumarie in his human form. Above the red area is a semi-circle, where we have something that looks like the thatch. The roof of a house, is maybe where the flesh has been kept and the tortillas cooked. Then we have many dots, some yellow and some light green, which would be the words of our ancestors, thankful for being energized by the sacrifice, and especially for the deer, which are their favorite food. We call this piece "The Deer Offer Themselves in Sacrifice Like Sheep." To one side is his spirit, the lamb. The reason he is the lamb is that like lambs are like the sheep, so when he is sacrificed he does not complain. The deer does not complain, he offers himself in sacrifice to mankind, self sacrifice. Yukaima does as well, also in his spirit. The question is finding out more about Yukaima in the mythology, and this is after they have served their flesh to our ancestors, both in the underworld and in this world, where all of them give life to our ancestors, or to the gods. The way we see them in their spirit is as three bugs. One of them appears like a bird on the lower left, right above what appears to be a small shrine. It is attached to the bird. We once again see Tatewari, and this is because in a previous yarn painting he was showing Tateweri, in a peak where he finds Xieteri. The word Xieteri is the plural form of bees. The singular form is Xiete. We see here five bees that are all around tatewari's body and his head. He thinks to himself, “Oh, it is a good thing that I have found these bees. Tomorrow I will come to look for the honey,” He thinks of taking honey to his mother. He uses the Huichol term “tae”, which means “mother”, and also to take this to Yurianaka, our mother earth, If we look at it, we see the path that he is following is to climb the peak that is surrounded by rocks. Between the rocks of the peak, probably in the blue area, is the hive of the bees. It is not really a hive like the hives of bees that we know in the west. This is a special kind of “sting-less” bee, that produces very little honey. This bee produces very sticky beeswax that is used to make the Huichol yarn paintings. We see that there is a gourd. Gourds are usually used to carry water, but he is probably going to use that gourd to put honey in. What is coming from his finger is the thought that he is conveying as he is thinking about how happy he is to find the bees nest, so that he can get honey for his mother and for the earth, and he does not really specify the name of his mother.

Here we see how we find Yucaima, heart of Kauyumarie. We see how she has made her hive. Yucaima, the mother of the bees, changes into a woman. This is how Kauyumaria has ordered that it should be. In order to make sense out of this yarn painting, we have to focus on the circle at the top center. It is a nierika, something through which we can see the sacred figures that are hidden, the figures that only can be seen by the shaman. It is likely that central figure represented in this yarn is Yucaima, the mother of the bees. She is the figure that is sitting on the left side. Out of her hands are also figures that are humanoid. They will turn into two bees, who will begin a hive. The hive would be placed in the branches of the white branches. The nest, as he calls it, is represented by the two crosses. They are set within the branches and connected to her head. Her head is black because she is dying. She is connecting to other hives. She is connecting to new life. Her old life is like that black flower that we see right in front of her chest. Above her leg are her words as a human woman. The words are represented by black dots. The life which will come from her is represented as the yellow rays around the nierika, the sacred round disc. Again, her death is represented by black rays. Above her leg is a female being who is the heart of Kauyumarie. The fawn of the sun and our elder brother, is connected to the sources of water. We see that water emanates from her head and it also is connected to the branches of the tree.
